From Texas to Missouri and many points in between.... This year's spring break.
I am still buzzing from the lack of sleep, the heavenly bed at westin (ill mention more about that later)buzzing from sensory overload, buzzing from the neon?! and the multiplicity of beverages im am not sure what their contents were, but am thankful, these things and more were encountered this last week.
This excerpt was taken from the sigma tau delta wrap up meeting yesterday and really blew me away im still smiling, "Matt Ruybal blew the crowd away at his presentation when he played the song “Clarity” by John Mayer in accompaniment to his paper entitled “Clarity Inspired Radio Waves.” His presentation was so popular that during the concluding question and answer portion seemed like an everlasting string of questions and comments regarding John Mayer’s lyrics, and the link that Matt found to Thoreau’s Walden.
Kansas City is really an amazing place. I was fortunate enought to tour an art museum with many rare items i didnt even know were in this country. monet's water lilies were awesome. Also thanks to the dumb luck of meeting some locals, was taken to the frank lloyd wright house and toured houses previously owned by president truman and others. Other notables were the real jazz bars, the metrosexual/gay jazz bar, oops!, the casinos, the halls, ice skating with no skates, jackson park, the st patty's day parade, the plaza, union station, skies, hyatt, the grassy hills, the ww1 memorial, jazz muesum, etc.
more to come...
