Recently there was a survey given out to folks in Albuquerque regarding the reasons why they do not go downtown.

The top six reasons people don't go to downtown Albuquerque:

1.        There's no reason to go there

2.        It's too far away

3.        There's nothing interesting

4.        There's not enough parking

5.        No particular single reason for not going

6.        Crime

The important question out of all of this is: How do we fix this?  I am left guessing, the more I think about my experiences downtown, I cannot pinpoint a single thing.
